Comments: I found this band really randomly on Last.fm and really fell in love with them. Unbreakable was the first song that I decided to try out and it is also my favorite from them. This band.. they kick total ass, it's great. The thing I like most about Unbreakable is the fact that it's so inspirational. The lyrics are all about not being afraid and having a NOTHING CAN STOP ME attitude and just not letting anything get in your way. I'm so glad I found out about this band! If you're into rock, you must check this out!

Comments: This is Ly Hai's cover of Mau Xanh by Baby J Truc Diem, which is my favorite Vietnamese song EVER. This version isn't much different, aside from the fact that it's by a male artist and there's some additional rapping by Hoang Rapper which wasn't in the original. The song is still absolutely epic, especially the chorus. I just love the twinkling piano in the background and the way it meshes so right with the drums and Ly Hai belting out the lyrics <3 Excellent excellent song. Also highly recommended! You should check out Baby J's version, too. IT. IS. AMAZING!!

Comments: This song is soooo much more than just your ordinary everyday ballad. It's quite dark and dramatic with strings and piano making up most of the instruments. At times if you listen closely you can hear just a touch of synth in the background. I love how dissonant Shy'm's gorgeous vocals sound in the chorus of this song. It's a really nice added effect and it was the thing that stood out most to me about this haunting little gem. Definitely my favorite song from her new album, she did a really good job with this one!

Comments: I really like this song, especially the intro. IT'S SO ADDICTING! The first time I heard it, I couldn't get it out of my head for days. I just wish she had incorporated more of it into the song because it's easily the best part. Oh well, at least it's at the end, too. xD The chorus in X.O.X.O. is also quite nice. Miliyah seems to make really good songs. I'm not all that familiar with her songs besides this one and SENSATION but if they're anything like that then I'm sure I'd love them because this is a good song.

Comments: I think it's so BOLD for a rock band to cover a Madonna song. They get points for that alone, but they get even more points for doing it even better than the original (IMO of course). This is just such an epic cover and they totally rocked it. Carly does a really great job in the vocal department, of course, with her trademark deep and smoky vocals. When I heard her sing "Like a child you whispered softly to me.." I was hooked. AMAZING cover! This is the song that got me into such a big rock mood this week. :D

Comments: This is my personal favorite song from Jolin's new album, Myself. It's sooooo pretty and emotional ♥ Most of her songs lately have been of a dance nature, but this one is just different because it's more of an R&B ballad. The beats against the piano playing in the background is magical. The chorus drew me in immediately with the "There is nothing left to say" line. I can't say why, I just think the chorus is really epic. Jolin's new album as a whole was good, but this song was definitely the best in my opinion. :)

Comments: I was hoping so much for a good song on SISTAR's new single after the awesomeness that was Tic Toc. Gasikgeol definitely didn't disappoint, I liked it as soon as I heard it. It was a good choice for their title track. The synths are rather subtle since it's a pop ballad and the melody is really sweet. You know it wouldn't be a Kpop song without a rap section, so there's a small but nice one near the end that I rather enjoyed. I hope that this group continues with the good releases from now on, I'm loving what I'm hearing!

Comments: Most of SuBoi's debut album is in English, so I was really happy to hear a lot of Vietnamese lyrics in this one! She also sings inthis song, which I thought was really nice. The chorus is just really awesome. I just love when she sings "Listen to me good" and "Can I keep you in memory?" Ah, it's just such an awesome song! If you haven't heard SuBoi yet or you didn't try her out from my last rotation, you are missing out big time! I definitely highly recommend this song! <3

Comments: This is just a genius idea to me. Making a female-fronted rock cover of Apologize. I CAN'T EVEN DESCRIBE TO YOU HOW AWESOME I FIND THIS. All Ends is an amaaazingly talented (and underrated!) band from Sweden who did a pretty damn great rock rendition of this song. It just works so well as a rock song, too. Who would have guessed? Screaming guitars and soaring vocals really make this song! I recommend All Ends in general, they have a lot of really good songs AND they're going to release a new album soon. :D
